Ford escort MKI

The Fork Escort MKI, a rally myth wanted by Ford to conquer Europe with one of its first compacts.

The first racing Ford Escort Mk1 was built at Boreham, based on one of the very first 1300 GT models built. Instead of the standard parts, this prototype was equipped with Ford's famous Twin Cam engine, a shaft gearbox and a large rear axle.
